As Capital.com accelerates its global growth ambitions, the company has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of veteran communications strategist Mamoon Sbeih as Chief Strategy Officer, signalling a renewed focus on strategic expansion and corporate leadership.
Supporting the Company’s Global Growth Strategy
Sbeih steps into the role with nearly three decades of experience in strategic communications across the Middle East and North Africa. Announcing the appointment, Capital.com Founder Viktor Prokopenya said Sbeih’s deep expertise in public affairs and government relations makes him well positioned to help guide the company as it enters new markets and jurisdictions.
Reflecting on his appointment, Sbeih said Capital.com is building “something structurally different” by designing a platform around better decisions rather than faster ones. He added that he looks forward to applying the same strategic discipline that shaped his work with governments and global businesses to strengthen Capital.com’s story as it continues to grow.
A Career Shaped by Global Communications Leadership
Sbeih brings 27 years of experience in strategic communications, including nearly a decade at the World Bank as an External Affairs and Aid Coordination Officer. He later held senior leadership roles at BCW before joining APCO in 2006, where he served as Managing Director for the MENA region, Regional President from 2017, and most recently Chief International Business Development Officer and MENA Chairman.
Founded in 2016, Capital.com operates a regulated, technology-led trading platform across multiple jurisdictions, with a business model centred on governance, compliance and long-term operational resilience. As the company broadens its international footprint, Sbeih’s appointment underscores its commitment to combining strategic growth with disciplined leadership.
