Kulicke & Soffa has named semiconductor executive Dr. Raj Talluri as President and CEO, effective September 1, bringing extensive technology and business leadership experience to the role.
Kulicke and Soffa Industries is preparing for a new chapter in leadership, with Dr. Raj Talluri set to take over as President and Chief Executive Officer on September 1, 2026.
Talluri was also elected to the semiconductor technology company’s Board of Directors, effective August 17. Lester A. Wong, who has been serving as interim CEO alongside his responsibilities as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will continue in his EVP and CFO roles.
Talluri brings decades of semiconductor and technology leadership experience. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Enovix Corporation from January 2023. Before that, he led Micron Technology’s Mobile Business Unit as Senior Vice President and General Manager between 2018 and 2022.
His earlier career included senior executive roles at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies and engineering and business leadership positions at Texas Instruments.
Peter T. Kong, Chairman of Kulicke & Soffa’s Board of Directors, said Talluri’s track record and approach to leadership positioned him to guide the company through its next phase of growth.
Talluri’s appointment comes as Kulicke & Soffa continues to develop semiconductor assembly technologies serving automotive, compute, industrial, memory and communications markets.
With Talluri taking charge from September, the transition brings an experienced semiconductor executive to the helm while retaining continuity in the company’s financial leadership through Wong.
