Langham Hospitality Group Names Josh Littman to Lead EMEA Development Push

Langham Hospitality Group has named Josh Littman as Head of Development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as the Hong Kong-headquartered hospitality operator accelerates its regional growth strategy.

Based in London, Littman will be responsible for securing new hotel and branded residence contracts across the EMEA region for the Group’s portfolio of brands, which includes The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, Eaton and Ying’nFlo.

Littman brings more than two decades of experience across hospitality development, investment advisory and mixed-use property planning. He most recently served as Vice President of Development, EMEA at Starwood Hotels, where he led regional growth for Baccarat Hotels, 1 Hotels and Treehouse Hotels. Earlier roles included senior development positions at InterContinental Hotels Group and Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos, advancing both companies’ growth strategies across Europe and the Middle East. His career has also spanned advisory work with AECOM Economics and financing and feasibility roles with Kerzner International and PKF Consulting.

Commenting on the appointment, Langham Hospitality Group CEO Bob van den Oord said Littman’s broad experience across luxury, upscale, resorts and branded residences segments made him “exceptionally well placed” to capitalise on the momentum the Group has built in the region, citing landmark openings including The Langham Venice and The Langham Diriyah.

The appointment signals a deliberate push into a region where, according to van den Oord, owners and developers are increasingly seeking brands with clear positioning and long-term relevance.

Langham Hospitality Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Eagle Holdings Limited, with over 40 hotels, resorts and residences in operation or development across Asia, Europe, North America, Australasia and the Middle East.
