Artificial intelligence is also being explored for predicting quality across planting, harvesting and storage, while IoT and blockchain-based systems can strengthen traceability and data management.
The value extends beyond operational efficiency.
When companies can understand where ingredients originated, which varieties were cultivated, how crops performed and how produce travelled through the supply chain, they have a stronger foundation for maintaining consistent standards.
