Leo Pareja succeeds eXp founder Glenn Sanford as CEO of AGNT, bringing two decades of real estate experience to a leadership transition focused on technology, agent ownership and global expansion.
After building a real estate business around a different vision of brokerage ownership, Glenn Sanford is passing the chief executive role to a leader who has helped shape its next phase.
Leo Pareja has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AGNT, Inc., formerly eXp World Holdings, effective October 8, 2026. He succeeds company founder Glenn Sanford, who will remain Chairman of the Board, continuing to guide its long-term direction.
The transition places Pareja at the head of a global platform that includes eXp Realty, NextHome, FrameVR.io and SUCCESS Enterprises.
A Leadership Journey Built Within the Business
Pareja has served as CEO of eXp Realty since April 2024, following earlier roles as Chief Strategy Officer and President of Affiliated Services.
His leadership experience extends well beyond the company. Before joining in 2022, he co-founded real estate technology business Remine in 2016 and led it until its acquisition in 2021. Under his leadership, Remine’s technology reached more than one million real estate professionals across North America.
At eXp Realty, Pareja has contributed to the development of agent-focused services and technology. In May 2026, he also led the acquisition of NextHome, marking the company’s expansion into franchising and its evolution towards a broader operating model.
Founder Moves Into a Strategic Role
Sanford founded the company in 2009 with an approach centred on cloud-based operations and agent ownership.
Reflecting on the transition, he said Pareja had been instrumental in advancing the business into an AI-focused era and had demonstrated a strong commitment to agents, employees and shareholders.
The appointment follows a succession process that the company’s board described as deliberate and carefully planned. Directors voted unanimously in favour of Pareja’s appointment.
Technology and Ownership Define the Next Chapter
As CEO, Pareja will oversee AGNT’s portfolio of businesses and its continued international development.
His stated priorities include equipping agents with technology, practical tools and ownership opportunities as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in real estate services.
The transition also illustrates a broader leadership principle: founder-led companies can preserve their original vision while creating room for a new generation of executives to shape how that vision develops.
With Sanford remaining Chairman and Pareja assuming executive leadership, AGNT is entering its next chapter with continuity at board level and a renewed focus on the future of agent-led real estate.
