The partnership also encompasses plans for the expansion of the existing data center infrastructure within the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Microsoft’s cloud offering is set to provide a secure platform for UAE public sector entities and regulated industries, offering access to cutting-edge cloud and AI features available on the Azure public cloud. This initiative aligns with the objective of aiding organizations in adhering to local privacy and regulatory prerequisites. Leveraging G42’s deep understanding of UAE sovereignty requirements and technical expertise, the offering will be tailored to address specific customer needs effectively.
Furthermore, the collaboration between G42 and Microsoft will focus on the development of AI-enabled industry-specific solutions, spanning domains such as health and life sciences, energy, sustainability, and national significance projects, including the upcoming COP28 conference to be hosted in the UAE. In addition to elevating the benchmarks for public sector cloud computing security and innovation, the partnership aims to empower the broader technology ecosystem by delivering in-country services, expanding market opportunities for partners, and unlocking substantial value for Microsoft’s partner network to provide industry-specific solutions to local entities.
