World Realty Congress has launched WRC Councils, a year-round roundtable platform that brings senior real estate leaders together across the value chain. The inaugural WRC Leadership Council met in Dubai on 21 October 2026 under the theme “From Project Delivery to Long-Term Asset Value”.
Leadership in real estate has often been measured at completion: a project launched, built and handed over on time. Yet the value of a building is shaped long after that moment, by the people who operate, maintain and manage it. Leading well means seeing the whole life of an asset, not just one stage of it. That idea sits at the heart of WRC Councils, the newest platform from World Realty Congress (WRC).
“WRC Council was born from a simple belief: the future of real estate cannot be shaped in silos. We need different perspectives around the same table, having conversations that lead to meaningful change,” said Jatin Deepchandani, Founder, World Realty Congress and WRC Councils.
Leadership Across The Value Chain
WRC Councils is one of five pillars of the WRC ecosystem, alongside the Congress, the WRC Awards, Community Tours and WRC After Hours. The Congress remains the industry’s common stage each December. The Councils extend that work through the year, offering a closed-door setting where senior leaders can examine difficult questions in depth.
Each roundtable brings together 12 to 15 invited leaders, from developers, brokers and contractors to community and facilities managers, PropTech leaders, finance and legal stakeholders, and regulators. The emphasis is on balance and seniority: every voice at the table represents a different responsibility, and a different view of what long-term value requires.
The Councils are also designed to produce results. Discussions move through five steps, from identifying shared challenges to documenting the outcomes and carrying priority themes forward into future councils.
